Oracle AI Database 26ai Enterprise Edition is now generally available for Linux x86-64. You can download it from the usual places, such as the Oracle Database download page, Software Delivery Cloud (eDelivery), and My Oracle Support (the RU).

Oracle AI Database 26ai is the fourth release following the Cloud and Engineered Systems-first release approach. This new release approach was first introduced with Oracle Database 18c and offers great benefits to on-premises customers. Today, on-premises customers do not download the first version of a brand-new major release. Instead, they download 23.26.1, which is the 8th Release Update (RU) from the initial 23.3.0 release back in April 2023. This means that on-premises customers get Oracle database software that has already proven itself serving some of the largest, most demanding, and most important workloads for several years.
